A big welcome to our latest addition to the Island Holidays team. Colin Dellar has just retired after 29 years as Chief Purser onboard RMS "St Helena", the ship which provides the passenger service to St Helena and Ascension Island in the South Atlantic. Before this he was with the famous Union-Castle line to South and East Africa, which was the last liner service under the British flag. This maritime connection has meant that he has spent many years travelling extensively in the South Atlantic Islands and Southern Africa.
Not only will Colin be leading our November tour to St Helena but he's also putting forward a fascinating proposal for a new tour to South Africa - as soon as I've had a chance to look at it and put the whole thing together we'll post it on our website. Meanwhile, welcome Colin!
