Well, Johnnie went home on Thursday and we had a lovely time - except for the weather. It really is sad when you want to show off your beautiful country and it does that to you. We didn't see a mountain the whole time!
The weekend was catch up time and also forward planning. I'm going to be travelling a ridiculous amount over the next 14 months, the first trip being in 10 days' time when I lead a trip to The Azores. I love those islands. Next year we're doing a different itinerary including the remote islands of Flores and Corvo which will be brilliant and will hopefully suit those people who've already been to the islands but want to see more.
There are still a few detailed day by day itineraries to be finished for 2009/2010 and that's the priority this week. Sorry if you're one of the people waiting for them.
Typepad (which is what I use to publish this blog) has a new format and I'm blowed if I can work it out. There seems to be a tool bar missing which means that I can't put in links or photographs. I'll have to work it out, but meanwhile I'm afraid the page will look a little dull. Still, it's more important to get those itineraries finished, so bear with me!
